Supreme pizza was wet and soggy, but delicious. No 5 stars if you can't pick up the slice without it drooping over and spilling into your lap even with the NY fold. Avoid slices because volume is too low. Adding toppings to a stale cheese slice and warming it up is simply not acceptable except at the mall. Lack of an 8" pizza really hurts here. Nobody is happy when folks are picking off stuff they hate off a big pizza. Ptui! If there is no 8" pizza option, at least put tweezers in with the other silverware. Avoid the garlic knots, which are just greasy refrigerator biscuits. Venice uses the ubiquitous cheap and crappy processed ham/bacon/pepperoni toppings. Enough said there. Bacon is not hard to cook, and top quality cold cuts abound. Just tell the food broker "No". I say no more than three toppings, and be careful to pick ones that work together in grease/moisture to avoid the soggy mess. Venice might become the best pizzeria in the area, but they are $2-$4 overpriced. Right now, they are not producing a product worthy of premium pricing. Tremendous potential for a new pizzaria, and they seem serious about achievement. Fresh rock shrimp, stone crab claws, dry salami and some gorgonzola cheese would justify their pricing. Reviewing a new restaurant like this is kinda cold but necessary. Diners, have modest expectations and be pleasantly surprised. Four out of five stars is damn good. This might become the best pizzeria in the area. Nobody else even tries. Also, waitresses should not be janitors. Having the person who serves your food sweep up around you is not acceptable. They should be sanitary. Come on, Venice! Fern Park eaters need you! Step up! You can do it!

Go to the Tuscany place instead. Short story: horrible service. I'll give you the positive sandwhich: menu looks good, terrible lasagne, large calzone. You could probably order anything you like off of the menu in terms of Italian. When we chose this place after checking out the flier, we ordered delivery. 45 minute wait at about 7 on a Sunday, and the togo worker was very unsure about the menu. The small meat lasagna, $12 tasted like it was previously frozen, and was very watery. The meat was not tasty at all, and the noodles were not cooked all the way. The calzone we ordered was huge but the crust wasn't anything to write home about. We also got a side salad that was lacking. Overall sucky red sauce. When I called to mention the lack of quality, I was guaranteed a credit on my "account". Once we decided to give this place another chance, they were rude on the phone when trying to "look up my account". No credit and an abrasive attitude. No thank you.

Really good pizza slices, they are huge, the slices in the display are from the house 20" pie. They have 12 different slices for sale in the display case. Cheese, pepperoni, white, lasagna, chicken spinach alfredo, chicken bacon ranch, BBQ chicken, Philly steak, Hawaiian, Venice supreme, meat lovers. They also have a huge menu of Italian foods, wings, pasta, salads, sub's even burgers! Music was good classic rock, not too loud. Service was awesome and friendly. They offer free refills on fountain coke drinks and iced teas.

I ordered delivery for the first time there and it was AMAZING!! I ordered the Gyro and The Works cold sub and a bottle of their House wine. Everything was perfect! The delivery guy was extremely nice and professional (and he smelled good!). I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again. ..... AND, they deliver wine!!!!! Very good experience!

I was very disappointed with my experience at Venice pizza .I eat out all over the state of Florida and I'm very lenient for a bad or forgetful waitresses if the food is good... but this place was a disaster we were one of only two tables in the whole restaurant no plates I asked for them 3 times .I finally had to go up to the counter and tell the waitress I've had enough!!!!! I need plates to feed everybody at my table no one can eat their food she brought the wrong entrees ,the pizza had been sitting out and came to the table like a wet sponge, I ordered crispy wings and was up charged $3.25 to get them extra crispy with blue cheese. She gave me the wrong entree which was a salmon salad with 2 pieces of salmon in the salad and insisted on giving it to me for her mistake .I told her that I didn't want it but my son took it anyway when we got home i and opened it up to see what was in the salad ....only one piece of salmon made in the to go box she took the other one out unbelievable!!!! 1 extra large pizza with pepperon, 1 calzone ,one order of 20 wings ,3 sprites ,two bowls of soup ,and one small salad $62 everything in there was pricey. And took forever for the food to come out ! not worth the trip never ever will I step foot in there again save your money !!!!!

My husband got the chicken cutlet sandwhich and I got the 10 wings and fries. Both were delicious! Nice and hot and with great flavor! The service could be a little better but we will definitely come again and recommend to other people. Next time I will try the pizza!

Ordered a 16" pepperoni and sausage pizza for pickup. Excellent New York style pizza. The sauce had good flavor, crust was perfectly cooked. Inside was clean and had booths, it appears to be a nice place to eat in with a family. Online ordering was not working yet so I called my order in. It's behind Chick fila off Oxford Rd. I've been looking for the place every time i drive up 436, and finally found it. Definitely will be ordering pizza there again.

Despite the fact that there is no sign on the wall to identify this tenant space as a pizza restaurant, I took a chance and tried it out. What a surprise. If you like NY style pizza, this place is outstanding. Chicken wings were also great. Look forward to returning soon to try some of the dinner entrees.

We have eaten here a few times now and I have to say the sausage pizza is great and some of the soups are really good, was not crazy about the eggplant , it was recommended but I would not order it again.

Best pizza place in town. Everything tasted fresh. Try the chicken bacon ranch pizza or the tomatoes basil. The restaurant looks great, and there's a lot of HDTVs on the walls to watch. Great place to take a family.

ordered delivery on three occasions and it seems the food gets better each time. We are working our way thru the menu and everything has been great. The delivery has come right when we were told to expect it every thing was as ordered and HOT. The meals are well made and the portions are generous. Looking forward to our next meal from "Venice".

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
